This description is scary to me, but more so because of the extreme time line. I am fairly sure that I will not be alive to see the most horrible parts of it, but my children, or their children, or theirs. . . may be. This reminds me even more how important it is that I try my utmost to live out a Christ-like life, to model to my children and impart to them a yearning for scripture and prayer so that they can have hope and joy even in the worst circumstances. They can then pass that on to their children and on and on. I am thankful however that there IS an end to it. Jesus' words will never pass away. He is the Word made flesh. The night is worst before the dawn and thank God for the dawn! What a glorious relief, a hope fulfilled it will be!
