1 Peter 1 (New International Version)
Contemplate the following questions and ideas during and after you read the chapter. Feel free to write your thoughts in a follow up to this post (keep in mind your posts will be available to the public).
This chapter calls upon believers to live a holy life, to be holy people. Would you characterize your life, yourself, as holy? If not, what do you need to do to make it so?

I think that I am holy in that I am a temple for the Holy Spirit, made holy by the One who sanctifies me. I especially am moved by verse 22, "Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart." That has to be evident in someone who has been made holy by Jesus. I hope that it is evident in me. In all things that is what I can always work harder to do.
