Contemplate the following questions and ideas during and after you read the chapter. Feel free to write your thoughts in a follow up to this post (keep in mind your posts will be available to the public).
What temptations do you face? How does the Spirit help you overcome them? People responded in different ways to Jesus. Some wanted to kill Jesus (4:29), some were amazed at this teaching and told others (4:36-37) and some wanted to stay with him (4:42). What is your response to Jesus’ teaching and his presence with you?
