The story of Paul and Silas (16:16-40) shows how faithfulness to Christ will sometimes bring us into conflict with the “powers that be” and can lead to problems and persecution. Paul and Silas responded by singing and praying (16:25) and this had a great impact. Have you faced conflicts because of your faith? How have you responded?
